Industrial Sludge Pumps
Sludge Pumps are a type of Positive displacement Pumps that are used primarily for the transfer of sludge, waste water in ETP plants, municipal wastewater plants. Due to their usage, these pumps are built with strong materials and designed to handle extremely difficult applications, like transferring the liquids or the sludge that can be highly corrosive and abrasive. The maximum flow rate that these pumps can handle is 2200 GPM and the maximum pressure is 696 PSI.
These sludge pumps consist of a rotor and stator. The rotor moves inside the stator to form cavities and the liquid is passed through these cavities. These pumps have high suction lift capability and can work in low NPSHR conditions. Also, these pumps are non-clogging.
